Buying Land

If you have done some mining, fishing, farming, etc. and have a little money you have several options open to you:

Wild Land:
You can go just about anywhere in the wild and buy land for $50 Fens per tile.  You also need to buy at least 100 tiles at a time, although they can be in any rectangular shape.  That makes the minimum purchase in the wild as $5,000 Fens.  Of course you can buy more then that if you wish.  With wild land you are the only owner, and can expand and build whenever and however you wish.  If you have at least 2,500 tiles connected in the wild you can declare it a city, and become a city owner.

City Land:
The different cities on the server also offer land in their cities for sale at about half the price that wild land costs.  These city plots are fixed in size by the city owner, they usually cannot be added to, and may have height or depth limits.  City plots are owned by both the city owner (60%), and the plot owner (40%).  City plots are protected for the plot owner, and the city owner does not have access to city plots unless the plot owner adds them to the plot.  The city owner can request that you follow certain guidelines, or city themes.  If you do not, you may have your money refunded, and be asked to leave.  Being in the city often comes with extra conveniences like access to the UFO hub, the Nether, city server shop, public farms, neighbors, etc.

Nether:
You can also buy land in the Nether, however the cost is $100 Fens per tile with a minimum buy of 100 tiles in a rectangle shape.  That makes the minimum purchase in the Nether as $10,000 Fens.  With Nether land you are the only owner, and can expand and build whenever and however you wish.  If you have at least 2,500 tiles connected in the Nether you can declare it a city, and become a city owner.

End:
You can also buy land in the end at the same price as wild land, $50 Fens per tile with a minimum buy of 100 tiles in a rectangle shape.  That makes the minimum purchase in the End as $5,000 Fens.  With End land you are the only owner, and can expand and build whenever and however you wish.  If you have at least 2,500 tiles connected in the End you can declare it a city, and become a city owner.  The central land of the end, and only that central land mass will be reset on occasion, so in the land that is bought in the end should be bought well out and away from the natural End landmass.

All land purchases in Fenix require you to be at least 300 tiles away from any city, and farther than 50 tiles away from other players, unless the city owner, or other players agree for you to be closer.

Spawn Shop:
For $5000 Fens you can buy a player shop plot at spawn.  You will be expected to buy, and sell things in this plot.  Although you will not be able to build your plot very high, you will have lots of room to dig down and put in personal stuff if you should wish.  Seeing that it is spawn, you will be asked to remove anything that might create lag, such as Redstone circuits, excessive mobs, or anything else that might create lag.
